Woodfarm Barns & Woodfarm Barges
Woodfarm Barns and Woodfarm Barges have something to offer everyone, especially dog owners because all of their accommodation is dog friendly. The charismatic owner Carl and his friendly team go out of their way to ensure guests have a relaxing stay right here in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Towns like Bury St Edmunds, Southwold and Woodbridge are within easy reach as are many other interesting tourist spots.
The Barns and Farm House
There are six well appointed, charming Suffolk barns, each with their own enclosed garden. Five of the barns each have their own private hot tub. There is a beautiful 500 year old thatched farm house which can sleep seven - the perfect place for families to stay. They will accept up to three dogs per barn and farm house and there is a fabulous, fully enclosed, two acre meadow especially for dogs to run loose in; like at The Dog they have a toy box for them to rummage through!
For a truly unique experience why not stay on board one of two stunning Woodfarm barges! Twee Gebroeders, moored close to the iconic Tide Mill in Woodbridge, sleeps 2-4 and Onderneming, moored at Snape Maltings, sleeps 6-8. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome on both barges. Please note that both barges are permanently moored and do not move off their moorings. There is just the smallest movement with the ebb and flow of the tide, such a restful feeling which adds to the unique nature of staying in this type of accommodation.
Woodfarm Barns have recently expanded and have acquired a traditional property in the hills just outside Lucca in Tuscany. The setting is absolutely stunning. The holiday cottage will, of course, be dog friendly and should be available to rent by the end of the year. Please keep an eye on their website or facebook page for more details.
