welcome to the grundisburgh dog
Our whole approach to the dog pub driven by a passion for food and drink. The daily excitement that comes with the use of fresh locally sourced produce and a constant desire to put a smile on our customers faces
'Run by two brothers and attractively placed near the village green, this pink-washed pub has a softly lit and relaxing carpeted lounge bar on the left, with comfortable seating around dark oak tables, antique engravings on its crushed raspberry walls, and unusual flowers in the windows. It links with a similar bare-boards dining room, with some attractive antique oak settles. Carefully cooked by James Rogers and using local produce and seasonal game (or even fish caught by them using their nearby boat), They have good espresso coffee and have an interesting range of wines, as well as well kept Adnams Best and Broadside and Shepherd Neame Spitfire on handpump; good, friendly service, and a relaxed and civilised atmosphere.'
